In July, Mountain Creek State High School IB students participated in a University of Sunshine Coast local partnership to create 3D Organic chemistry reaction simulations for the $37 million ‘Cave’ visualisation studio as part of the Keeping It Local STEM program. A separate partnership with University of the Sunshine Coast will bring the innovative technology of programming drones to fly and collect pre-organised data, and use applications to analyse the information digitally. With the new STEM building at Mountain Creek State High School due for completion in late 2019, students are set for further success in this rapidly expanding sector of education. It is certainly an exciting time for our region and congratulations
again to all the student award winners.
