Mountain Creek State High School operates a five (5) session timetable with students attending classes for three (3) sessions on a Monday and four (4) sessions Tuesday to Friday.
Mondays
All students (Years 7-12), attend school from 9.00 am - 1.10 pm.
Tuesdays to Fridays
Senior school students (Years 10-12) attend school from 7.30 am - 12.55 pm.
Junior school students (Years 7-9) attend school from 8.45 am - 2.40 pm.

Term 1 Commencement
In 2025, the school year resumes on Tuesday 28 January for Years 7, 10, 11 and 12.
Years 8 and 9 resume on Wednesday 29 January.
All year levels are at school on Wednesday 29 January.
