Enrolment at Mountain Creek SHS is governed by an Enrolment Management Plan which sets out conditions of enrolment and the boundaries that determine the catchment area for the school.
Local catchment enrolment
Mountain Creek State High School has a strong commitment to students from the local area. If you wish to enrol your student at the school, you will need to demonstrate that your student's principal place of residence is within the defined local catchment area. Current proof of residency will be required.
Please refer to Mountain Creek State High School's Enrolment Management Plan External link for the conditions under which students may be enrolled.
To determine if you live in the required catchment area, view the link below
Out of catchment enrolment
While Mountain Creek State High School is an enrolment managed school, parents/carers may submit a Special Consideration for Out of Catchment Enrolment to the Principal. An Out of Catchment, Expression of Interest form will need to be completed and submitted to the school along with the required documents. A non-refundable processing fee of $50 applies for all new out-of-catchment applications. This fee is payable at the time of the enrolment application being submitted and does not guarantee acceptance. If applying for multiple programs, the fee is payable only once.
Further information about out of catchment enrolments can be found on the Education Queensland website External link.
