Mountain Creek SHS P&C Bursary Application
Mountain Creek SHS P&C Bursary is designed to assist students in need who may otherwise not have the opportunity to reach their full potential due to equity, financial, social or physical hardship(s) that may prevent them from otherwise successfully completing school.
The Bursary is available to eligible students currently enrolled at Mountain Creek SHS.
The Bursary aims to support the students’ studies whilst enrolled at Mountain Creek SHS.
The bursary is to provide by Mountain Creek SHS P&C. It is designed to assist students in need who may otherwise not have the opportunity to complete their schooling by providing full or partial support for educational expenses such as:
- Compulsory School fees
- VET costs
- Subject or study related stationary and textbooks
- Uniforms
- Excursions and camps - assessment related
- Curricular and extra-curricular learning opportunities
The bursary does not cover:
- Formal ticket
- Senior Jersey
- Tuckshop expenses
- TAFE fees
- Transport to and from school
- Laptop – Mountain Creek SHS has an Equity Laptop Program. Please contact Administration or your students HOY or more information.
This bursary will be paid into the student’s school account to cover expenses outlined in the student’s application. If a student leaves school before completion of the bursary period, the bursary will lapse. Any unspent monies at the end of the bursary period or if a student leaves school will be returned to the P&C for reallocation to future applicants.
Eligibility
Family or Student experiencing equity, financial, social or physical hardship(s) that may prevent your young person from otherwise successfully completing school.
Student/s who display potential to do well at school; have a positive attitude to school and intend to complete their QCE.
Notification
Applicants will be notified by email if the application is successful or not. Student Service Team will assess all applications in week 5 and 9 of each Term.
