BYOxLink enables students and parents to install the School Wi-Fi and apps onto their devices from home streamlining the process so students and devices are ready for learning before coming to School. This will make student access to the School Wi-Fi faster, safer and more efficient.
The BYOxLink Service
To use the BYOxLink service, you will need to enrol the device into Microsoft Intune Company Portal. Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based mobile device management (MDM) platform that, for the purpose of BYOxLink, allows the department to distribute a wireless network profile and curriculum related applications to BYO devices.
When a Windows device is enrolled into Intune, you will be prompted to select the correct device certificate. This directs the device to access the new BYOxLink network. Instructions on how to do this are below.

Troubleshooting Tips
-
Check to ensure all
updates have been completed on the laptop.
- Students need "Administrator" access to their laptop for the initial connection to the school WiFi. If necessary, the student account can then be set to "Standard" after the connection process has been completed.
-
Windows laptops:
- Check the student has a personal
Microsoft Store account and is signed-in. This will ensure the Intune Company Portal app installs successfully.
-
